Zatanna helps the League to defeat Anton Allegro, safely imprisoning him in Arkham Asylum. They then help Zatanna's father, Zatarra, to track down the hidden city of the Homo-Magi and manage to break their way into it in order to find Zatanna's mother, Sindella. The League is captured and Zatanna is shown her mother who is about to be sacrificed and, once she is dead, Zatanna is to take her place.
