Carried to Rann by a Zeta Beam, several of the Justice Leaguers are in peril when Superman arrives, having followed their trail, and helps them defeat the mechanized attackers. The robots turn out to be drones of Starbreaker who has also sent duplicates of himself to Rann to absorb as much energy as they can.The duplicates are defeated by the League who return to Earth once the Zeta Beam wears off. Starbreaker re-absorbs his duplicates and pledges vengeance against the League.
